I have been listenin the Maulana Tariq Jameel since a long time and sometime felt that a vedio is very much essential becoz he often shows with actions the sunnah of the prophet s.a.w they way he used to look, talk, sit, speak and other actions or various sahaba r.z. Audio does not give the complete picture.

the video of moulana ahmed laat saheb definitely looks like it was taken covertly.

but the video of haji abdul wahab saheb does not look like it was taken covertly. the camera is being waved around in everyones face!

Well bro, me too completely against video but sometimes I gave up that also for watching haramain and Lectures especially Moulana Tariq jameel Sahab. I will try my best to quit that also.

Both elders avoid it; people take such videos without their permission/without them knowing.

Such videos really shouldn't be spread around. It's a different matter for videos intentionally produced vs. videos of people known to avoid it.

There's a video of Mufti Zarwali sahib somewhere, does that mean he permits it?

The advent of cameras in cell phones has made video-capturing very difficult to control. Hence, at many times, videos of many such Ulama appear on the internet who are themselves against this practice. Some people are of such a strange nature, that they reside to capturing pictures/videos of Ulama even with the use of deception. It is frequently announced in our Khanqah, i.e. the Khanqah (and Masjid) of Hazrat Maulana Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Sahib, that picture/video making is Haraam and hence should be strictly avoided especially in the Khanqah. However still, at times, people are caught trying to do so in a hidden manner.

Brother is there an ikhtilaf in this masla ?, because from the ulema e haqq, the likes of Mufti Taqi Usmani d.b and Mufti Abdur Rehman ibn Mangera d.b, Mufti Mohammad ibn adam d.b have given video bayans, knowing very well it is a video bayan, kindly if you can clarify the matter

Almost all of the ulama, associated with deoband, have been known to deem capturing of pictures and videos to be Haraam (striclty prohibited). Its only recently, that some Ulama have started showing laxity. Many still deem it to be impermissible but, sometimes, are not as strict in forbidding others who start making pictures/video of them.

..Similarly Maulana Ilyas Ghuman, manazir-e-islam, who is also a mureed of Shah Hakeem Akhtar, uses camera to capture how he defeats his opponents and for the service to deen , uses the camera.

Our Shaikh, Hazrat Maulana Shah Hakeem Akhtar Sahib, too, deems video making to be impermissible and is therefore very much against it.

Brother, this seems to be a very blasphemous statement which you seem to have directed towards a discussion concerning Deen. Landing on moon is a very trivial matter when compared to a query/answer related to Deen.

@ OP: When Live lectures, books and mp3's are available, then there seems no dire need to stick to video lectures. Many pious ulama deem it impermissible so its best to avoid it. A believer refrains even from things that are near Haraam. Another important point is that Deen is best learnt by sitting in the company of pious elders and ulama.
