LEARN ENGLISH LANGUAGE THROUGH ISLAMIC STUDIES:
The definition of the phrase ''Al Ashartu Mubashirun'' given below has been written by somebody on a website. There is something wrong with all these sentences.I would like willing Sunniforum members to go through these sentences and then make corrections and post the corrected sentences.
I Will be explaining the basic rules of writing English with reference to each post. The corrected version will also be posted for clarification.

''Al Ashartu Mubashirun:
Ten companions which were given assurance of entering Paradise.
They included Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Abdur Rahman ibn Awf, Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah,
Talhah ibn Ubaydullah, Zubayr ibn al-Awwam, Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, and Sa'id ibn Zayd.''

Customer to the Waiter: Get a roasted chicken.
Waiter: OK, sir!
The waiter gets the roasted chicken and places it on the table.
Finding the chicken rather sooty in colour the customer says (complainingly): Oh! The chicken looks horrible; remove it from the table. I want the manager.
The waiter replies: ‘’Sir, the Manager is not on our menu.’’

What is wrong with this piece of conversation?
The only thing wrong I can see wrong with the passage is the use of speech marks for some speech and the lack of speech for other parts of the passage.
