Salaam!

Q1. Does the Imam (leading salah) get additional reward compared to individual followers? Is it the reward of the all of the individual followers combined?
Q2. Can the concentration/kushoo' of the imam affect the kushoo' of the followers?
Q3. And vice versa to Q2 above?

you will find that the shafi' text do say that the reward of the imaam is greater. one of my teachers explained that the rahmah decends onto the imaam & then moves to those directly behind him & spreads out to the ends of the saff. so the closer you are to the imaam the greater your reward, hence we should compete for the first saff.
