He has a raft of new demands, yes? Such as agree to all previous demanded terms before discussing anything.

Well Obama just upgraded the PLO status in DC, previous to any concessions. If there was an equivalent gesture (=moving embassy in Jerusalem) then I'd say we should ok direct talks. Otherwise just say no. The thing to do is to embarrass Obama on every front, so he doesn't get solace in this area while he's destroying the US economy, deterrence, not to mention global stability for western values and civilization.

And maybe, just maybe, wishful thinking, left leaning, Israeli politicians will learn some lessons about not pushing their noses into the politicking of our enemies. Hopefully they won't attempt to build up the stocks of any 'would be' Palestinian Arab leader and call him peaceful 'peace partner', which is what they did with Abbas when they wanted to undermine Arafat. And look what he is up to now ... I for one don't think he is into any kind of a peace deal with Israel ...
Dare we hope that wishful thinking Israeli leaders have learnt that lesson? |

But to his credit - he said Jews have rights. And of course he was roundly condemned. Hey at least he admits we're people.
