Linkin Park said they were going to release a CD by the end of the year with some unreleased/new songs and some remixes. They did not, however, label the work as an "album."

However, in album-related news, the band said that they want to use the originality of "Breaking The Habit" to inspire them for their next album. Mike Shinoda said fans could probably count on another full-fledged album in 2005.

I didnt know Tool had an album scheduled, althought it has been four years since their last, thats aboot the usual time length.
