Well, I kind of see the Degradation Trip vol. 1 & 2 as THE real album. I bought the trimmed down version first, but since this is how the album was intended in the first place, it's what I'll always consider to be the THING.

Also, great to hear that Jerry is working on some new stuff. I can't wait to hear it, although as I said, I think it will be hard to top the Trip. Sad that he isn't feeling happy about Roadrunner, but he really should strike another deal.

BTW, now that jerrycantrell.com has been shut down, do you have any tips for a great Cantrell site? Some site that has got hold of the latest news? I'm kind of miffed now because I want to keep up to date with what he's up to and can't really find any good sites. So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ludacris - Red Light District

50 Cent - unamed at the moment

I am sure Linkin Park said they want to release another remix album in October like they did with Re:Animation, and they should have a new album out this year too...I'll pick it up because I just can't hate those guys, their music is brilliance.

Also gonna pick any Jay Z and Alicia Keys albums I can find

Bowling For Soup and Audioslave are the only two bands that i know of (and like) who are releasing albums this year, although i think somebody mentioned Evanescence at one point, and Linkin Park will no doubt have one by the end of this eyar or the start of the next, but Audioslave is the one i'm looking forward to the most

well Jerry Cantrell's Degradation trip was released earlier then last year, but it wasn't released how he wanted to thanks to Roadrunner records. So he finally got to rerelease how he wanted to last year.

He is working on new stuff right now but he isn't happy at Roadrunner records, so he's looking for a new label.

Peace.

Sorry man, can't help you there; I just google him when I need to find new info.

Besides working on new solo stuff i've seen that he's recorded vocals with Damage Plan, and is going to jam with the remaining members of AiC. If that jam feels good to them, they're thinking of reforming.

Peace.

If Audioslave will release a new album this year, I definitely want it. Their first one was awesome, so I hope they continue on the same track.

I doubt Jerry Cantrell will release more stuff this year, seeing he released Degradation Trip vol. 1 & 2 last year, I think he'll take somewhat of a break following that massive album. That album is easily my favorite album of all time, and that's saying something. Jerry put out an intense and awesome album, 25 songs in all with close to 2 and a half hours worth of music. No bad songs whatsoever. A true modern classic and masterpiece. It will be hard to top.

GWAR will be releasing their 9th studio album later this year, and since I'm a huge fan of the metal band slash comedy act, I'm going to be picking it up as soon as it gets out.

Also, another favorite band of mine, Suicidal Tendencies, are supposed to be putting out some new stuff (even Infectious Grooves are rumored to rear their ugly (?) heads), but since Mike Muir (lead singer) went and hurt his back touring it could very well be delayed and released next year. I hope not, and if it's released this year I will be getting my greedy hands in a copy.
