Default Trance's brink
Hey,

I'm experiencing a problem I heard about time before:

1.When reaching out the trance state I get to a point when my body gets completely tensed up all of the sudden.
2.I first pass through the light trance, but as time goes by in the session it's as if my mind would say "enough is enough".

A lot of time ago I read a post (don't remember where), and its poster stated there's like a checking system in the brain so it can know if you've fallen asleep or not. So to say:

1.Your consciousness has to be shut up before starting to dream.
2.Your brain checks that state by tensing your body.
3.If you're effectively asleep you won't move, so your brain can shift to the next stage.
4.If you're not asleep you'll be obliged to move in order to ease the tension. Due to that your brain will know you're not asleep.

So, it seems the trick is just to bear that tension for a while until it ceases, in which case your body'd be disconnected while your mind'd go on activated.

Does this ring a bell to you?
