good luck princess! i suddenly miss the days when i go to school..hope you find the right set of friends..enjoy!
I do like the school and everyone seems friendly, but the neighbor/ride I chose to go with is causing me some problems and a certain comment she wrote on facebook, or should I say "liked" rubbed me the wrong way and I know I should be sleeping now but I figure tommorrow will be another delay like today (Wednesday) and anyway, I keep on going back and forth with this cousin who I originally asked to carpool with. She agreed but the girl I'm riding with now I changed over because she lived closer and I thought it would easier to bum a ride of her weekly but it seems like more and more negative things associated with this deal are popping up more and more.

I already decided that if it continues for another couple of weeks, I'm going to have to save myself and just cancel my classes. My other ride option has a totally different schedule and couldn't take me everyday. And hopefully if I get my lincense this summer I can drive myself to and fro school next year, etc.

Hard advice: Toughen up and look out for yourself, and be good to people who are good to you. Stay out of drama.

Ok let me get this right. You are upset at your ride because she clicked "Like" on FB to something you don't like? So you're going to cancel your classes instead of riding with her?

Yeah, I have to agree with Laura's reaction. That seems like a pretty severe reaction to a facebook "like". Your going to destroy YOUR future and educational possibilities. I have a sneaky suspiscion something else is happening here. For your sake, if you really really don't like this person, find another ride. Don't hurt yourself over someone elses opinion of something irrelevant.

i strongly agree with new dawn, i am sorry but i find the reason you mentioned a bit silly..just try and concentrate on the things that really matter rather than letting simple things like this cloud your decisions in life..there are millions of people across the globe who lack the opportunity to be educated..dont waste yours because of a comment on a social network site..

More importantly: This girl is HELPING you by giving you a ride. If she wants to gossip, let her. What other people think of you is none of your business. Your future is your business.

No, it's complicated, I straighten it out, it was a comment my sister made to my status and she meant to claim to "like" my status, it was a rough night, I'm still riding with her.

Just focus on what really matters: your future.

I'm sure you'll meet some wonderful people there ! I met my most closest & true friends during my school days. Some of them I know since 1st grade ! And one of them since I was 3 or 4 years old LOL. Don't be afraid and don't get caught up on little things... Remain true to yourself, respect yourself & others and enjoy life !

I'll try but we both have a 9:30 computer class every other day and she's always running late and unforunately my computer teacher is the type of person to humiliate you if you show up just one minute late to his class and I did talk to the professor after class but he still thinks I should do something about "being late". I've tried talking to my neighbor/ride, she gets very defensive if you even calmly point out her flaws and how they affect someone. I've learned that she's a very sensitive person and not neccessarily in the good way.

Stop being overly sensitive to his criticism and then expecting her to put up with yours.

Are you trying to self sabotage your schooling? Get rid of the constant drama. I'd be d@%^d if I'd let something as trivial as not liking my carpool situation, or something stupid posted on FB keep me from getting an education.

Default First day of school today
Okay so today was my first day back to school as in it's been awhile since I actually took tradition/non-online classes and it was nice. My new school's student body seems very warm and inviting I must say.
