Default its looking promising
coventry city pushing for promotion?

4 clean sheets on the trot suggests that defensively we've sorted that department out,if you dont concede you dont lose

the next 3 games will be pivotal to our season though, norwich at home, cardiff away and Q.P.R. at home

1...Q.P.R. ....41 pts

2...cardiff....37 pts

---------------------------------------------------------

3...swansea...37pts

4...leeds...35 pts

5...coventry...34 pts

6...norwich...33 pts

-----------------------------------------------------------

7...derby...30 pts

Hardly inspiring failing to win and score, at home, against 14th placed Reading in your last match, was it?

by that reckoning we should abandon most of the season and only play the last 6 games

what you seem to forget is that for 7 of the seasons since we got relegated we've been heavily in debt, and at one point were only 30 minutes away from the administrators coming in.....we had a team of free transfers and loan players, hardly the recipe for success......but since the take-over we're now free of debt and re-building,if not this season promotion back to where we belong isn't far away

Where did I say that? You should play all of the games and at the end of the season judge if it looks promising, because anything can happen between now and when the play off games starts

You'rer one of the better teams in the Championship but I dont see you good enough to get promoted yet. Ity's touch and go if you'll make the play offs and if you do, you'll come apart against the best teams as you have been lately.

we've came apart basically because of a make shift back 4...and a few injuries in midfield......we actually ran Q.P.R. ragged only to be sucker punched early in the second half.....such is life

just to prove how much we've recovered from the crippling debts though.....at the moment we're the only club in the championship without any loan players

What is happening now? Boothroyd sacked?

Sorry, I shouldn't laugh

And since that mini table you put up, Coventry have amassed only 7 points

not all of us look at the league table or the recent list of trophy winners when we choose our team,so laugh as much as you like because if we were in the blue square league i'd still be skyblue.....now if i remember rightly you showed your loyalty to liverpool by disowning them when the gave old roy the managers job

Yeah you should never abandon your club. It's different levels of bad though, I mean if a team like Wigan go down, that's a bad season but I don't think the fans should abandon them. If we don't win the League, bad season, but nobody should abandon the club. Chelsea, Stockport County, Leeds, no matter who yo support you should never abandon them. I don't particularly like the Glazers owning us, but as long as the players are performing that's all that should matter, plus the transfer funding a few people thought might just evaporate is still there in strength. I know a few people who didn't support the appointment of Hodgson but they stuck with the club by and by.
