Anyone else watching this tournament? It started yesterday in Buffalo, NY. Canada beat Russia in their first game, 6-3.

You guys won the World Juniors last year. It's our turn to start another five in a row.

Actually, I was a bit surprised at this game. I didn't expect that Canada would win it so easily. The Americans are usually pretty intense against Canada no matter what level of hockey.

yes, but it seems like the USA would rather cheer every four years for the pros to go to the Olympics. remember last winter when we had that thread about the Gold medal game? that was great!

That was an epic, epic game. I cheered myself hoarse when Crosby scored the winner.

I hadn't been that excited since the 2004 NHL playoffs.
