POT TWO

England, Romania, Scotland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland, Sweden, Israel

POT THREE

Norway, Ukraine, Serbia, Denmark, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Finland, Switzerland, Belgium

POT FOUR

Slovakia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Moldova, Wales, Macedonia, Belarus, Lithuania, Cyprus

POT FIVE

Georgia, Albania, Slovenia, Latvia, Iceland, Armenia, Austria, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan

POT SIX

Liechtenstein, Estonia, Malta, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Andorra, Faroe Islands, San Marino

Personally my ideal group for England would be

Greece

God! Italy and Hungary wouldn't be too good for us. I don't rate Rep of Ireland nearly as much as I used to though.

Not really, I have watched part of the World Cup in the past. That was when I first learned they had no time-outs, that they added time to the end of the game, that they often faked injuries and that their athletes were actually in better shape than American football players. I'll probably follow some of it as it progresses.

In Europe, the winners of all the groups along with the best 8 runnerups having a play off for 4 other places, I believe. This is European groups explained

Quite happy with that overall, ok, we got Croatia again but the're a much better draw from us that post of the other countries in pot A. Ukraine was a tough draw though considering who else we could have got in their pot!
