Default CBB Thread
I see a thread for all other sports, but not college basketball, so I thought I'd start one. Discuss!

I'll start by saying--Duke 6-0!

Oh I see, a couple of ACC basketball fans eh? Well, you guys are happy campers come basketball season, I'm sure! I live and die with the Buckeyes and the Big Ten. The Buckeyes looked good this year until they were completely demolished by TX A&M. They should have a decent year though. We've replaced Oden with a big moose named Koufos. Who needs Greg when you have a Kosta!

GO BUCKEYES!

Wow, put those two records together, and you have the scoreline of a Venus/Zuzana match, in which Zuzu retires from embarrassment in the second set.

Actually, Venus has gotten to share the court with Zuzana twice in her career, and each time Venus LOST five games.

Duke is very overrated. Coach K is a great coach but the media just treat them like they are the almighty team but there are other teams that have way more wins than Duke

Spoken like a true Duke hata! Duke is not overrated this year--only one point and a last second shot from Pitt have kept them from an 18-0 start.

Media picks them to win every year but they have failed since Battier led them to the crown. VCU rallied to beat them in the NCAA tourney last year.
Duke can go 31-1 but when March madness arrives, they will not make the Final Four.

Well, that's true of almost any school. And with the one and done format, who can make that call this early in the season?

Agreed on not making the call early but Feb will see what teams have improved during the year

When March Madness arrives, I sign up for a lot of pools. Lucked up one year and won $$$ thanks to UNC out of that overrated conference.

Saw the game last night from midway in the first half and Maryland had no answer for Singler(sp ???). Cameron crazies were in effect last night. One of the Maryland players was jawing with the crowd to the point that an official had a talk with the Maryland player.

Duke should not lose until they play UNC in March or the ACC tournament.
