That was supposed to be revenge from a "shot" an American gave that same Argentinan player. The first shot looked to be nothing more than a blatant soccer flop and then the guy acted like he was badly injured. The retaliation probably had more to do with him being mad a foul wasn't ever called.

It was retaliation from a Chris Paul cheapshot (he was mad so he pulled a Chris Paul on Anthony). The Batum low blow against Spain was pretty bad and obvious.
