Alright we've had this thread at some point somewhere....but I'd like to see what you guys think AGAIN! What do you think Takoda is mixed with? I KNOW there is Lab, but there is something else in there, I've heard everything from APBT, Husky, Mountain Cur, and Shepherdy thing.

I'm only asking out of boredom, so what do you guys think? And the reason I'm making this thread is I came across this photo of an APBT that looks like Takoda! She's 41lbs FAT!! About 18-20.5 at the withers if that, active....VERY active!! And all muscle, there is no fat on this dog and if condition she'd be more ripped then she already is.

Any thoughts?

I still think she is a pit/lab mix or a lab mix of some sort.

Definately a lab mix. Could she maybe be mixed with Weimaraner? I know that might sound weird but in some photos her facial structure and body structure favors a weim. Could just be me. Also look at her amber colored eyes. That leads me to think that as well

Could just a pooly bred Lab too.

Way too small to even be small poorly bred field lab...even for a female...the smallest you'll see is 50-55lbs...she's 41lbs on a fat day and 37lbs on a good day.

When I saw that first head shot, I thought Weim. too.
Maybe Lab/Weim/Pit??????

Could be mixed with APBT, the breed is common enough. She looks exactly like my old neighbor's dog who was pitxlab

I had a friend with a papered Lab out of field lines- male, 42 pounds, ripped up all the time and totally obsessed with sticks.

My neighbors bred labs too and she does look like one of their smaller females. Though she was All out BYB that did not take care of her dogs either.

I still love Takoda though.

I have nothing to say that hasnt been said before but i love how healthy she looks!

I'd say 90% lab with either Vizla or Weim thrown in. Definitely a bird dog, lol.
