Razor edge pit?
 

Wats up everyone.....i got a dog a cuple days ago a 6 week old.....i have had 2 pits before him.....after i bought him i asked the lady his bloodline and she said razor edge? Are they pitbulls? Here is a pic of the mom and dad and my pup.....

Razors Edge is an American Bully bloodline. If your dog is RE, it is not an APBT but an American Bully.

I believe I posted a response on whatever thread you asked this in, but no Razors Edge are NOT APBTs, they are American Bullies.

If you are going by just the persons word and have no pedigree on the dog, you probably have an American Bully/American Bully Mix, but you for sure dont have an American Pit Bull Terrier.

Lol no, there is only one Pit Bull and thats the American Pit Bull Terrier. Its the only breed with "Pit Bull" in its name.

Sorry but no RE dog is a APBT, its an American Bully. They are separate breeds. If any other dog is "bully breed" its just that, a bully breed, thats anything from Amstaff, Staffy Bull, Bull Terrier, American Bulldog, English Bulldog, anything thats "bully" looking.
RE dogs are bully breeds, but they arent Pit Bulls.

Do alot of people make the mistake of callin a bully breed dog a pitbull? I dont no alot about breeds and if i saw the dad id just assume its a pit lol

They both look generic American Bully, probably RE blood but without a pedigree you cant know for sure.

Sorry dude, but what you think a Pit Bull is, is completely wrong. There are very few blue APBTs, and the chances of you getting one is slim to none, she is American Bully.

American Bullies were bred from APBTs who were crossed with Amstaffs, so they look very similar to both, but due to the cross breeding and separate breeding for so long now, they are a separate breed.
Its confusing I know. I once though blue dogs were APBT, thought mine was, but he isnt. He looks more AmBully/Amstaff now that I know what I am looking at.

Both parents look completely AmBully to me.

Just look at it this way, most people dont even know what a real APBT looks like, they think they are 80+lb dogs with giant heads, and thats not the truth.
Its more common that people are confused about what they have than not, I was but all you have to do is stick around and read and youll see pictures of real APBTs and youll be able to look at your dog, and its parents and make up your own mind on the fact that they arent APBTs.
Doesnt make them any less of a great dog though, I love them regardless and my AmBully mutt is the best damn dog I ever owned.

Edit: like look, this is a real APBT notice the difference in bone structure, head size, and over all mass. Your dogs are nice AmBullies but see how far off from a real Pit Bull they are?

I would call him an American Bully mix, thats what I call my dog. It might confuse some people but there are quite a few people out there that know what American Bullies are.

My male pup and full grown female are am bullies and my female is apbt and am bully mix. My male who passed was a am bully too
