I have a 5 ply seatbelt and the pink leather. I like the 5 ply except for the eye holes which are too rough for a dog with a sensitive neck. I did like the leather one, but if I were to get another leather, I would go black. The pink one has faded really bad and is hard to clean. The edges rolled up some too. It is a very sturdy collar though. My Ellas lead fancy leather has held up better looks wise and has been given the same treatment courtesy of Ripley as the Stilwater pink leather.

Once we finally get to see some of the more current episodes we will just have to start our own Dr. Who thread. LOL.

Good to know. I have decided against the pink though.

Nothing is set in stone yet so you all can feel free to Sway me. I'm liking the Bronson Show Collar but its not set in stone yet.

I really like the Bronson on Owen. I should have gotten another one that's similar in design in the darker color for Rita. I want to get a pink one for Renee when she's grown.

That Bronson collar is TOUGH! Owen pulled like a truck for a while and it never stretched a bit. Renee has been teething on it and its barely dented. I LOVE that collar!

Whatever you get, I'd recommend 1 1/2 or less. Two inch was a lot of collar for Rowdy @ 60 pounds. 1 1/2 ... just right

I like the 2" 4 ply for kaz on days i have to bathe her at the dog wash..lol... but thats only cuz i need to jerk her ass around. her leatrher collar with the handle is 1.5" (which i wouldnt recomend 1.5" leather for ur mama. id say 1" in leather).

The leather is 1.5" ,black/blue is 4ply 2" and black/pink is '3'ply 1.5"

i almost ALWAYS like to have a 2" on her.. i guess she might have a longer neck.. cause the 2" doesnt look toooo much for her most of the time. but im glad i didnt do a 2" in the leather!

The leather collar i have, has been thru the RINGER, and is still as beautiful as the day i got it. thats NO LIE. now i did 'work it' before i let her wear it, was a lil stiff, but it is one of my faves for taking her out in public. I LOVe it. i think you'd like one like the pink on i got for kk.

Stillwaters leather collar rolled up on u?? hmm.. odd. I had kaz in water, sand,at the farm, thrown it around , lost it 2 times..and its still in perfect shape. but might be a different type of leather??? how do you mean it ROLLED UP?

i dislike the non leather collars but im sure most of you already know this lol. his leather ones are fine. infact theyre very nice. i always rather suggest people go to obriens or BSC for non leather.

just so you can see how stillwater leather holds up after years of being out in all whether...

when I 1st got it

last winter caked in mud and grime

a few months ago (in Lee's hand getting ready to have the chain on)

and one of what it puts up with in summer

yea I would say that stillwater collars are AMAZING!, and yea after all that it has not stretched, still use between the 1st and second hole throughout the year and if he is on his chain or not (1st hole is for winter and chain normally since his neck is thinner during the summer it needs the 2nd hole)

yea it has faded a lot, but also picked up Goren's skin oil, when I wash it and condition it you can still see the difference between the red and black, but I would suggest conditioning it when you get the collar (no matter what one if its leather) it should help hold the color

Also, I bought a 1.5" burgundy leather collar oh geeze like two years ago for Lily. It was just way to big, bulky and stiff for her. I gave it to my friend for her 75lb Lab/RR mix. I bet anything bigger than 1" wide would be too much for Sasha given how small she is.
The 1.5" nylon show collars have been great though!

I will say, I've put Lily's 1.25" wide "for Ella" collar through hell. Its been in snow and whatever else. It still looks pefect and hasn't stretched, just gotten really soft and pliable. Suede lining looks awful now though, someday I'll either pull it off or send it in to get a new strip put on. Otherwise its perfect! Apparently I learned too because I had Scout's Gertrude's Son modified to have the D end like their working dog collar and if suede lining had been an option I'd have opted not to. Its breaking in beautifully, they really did an excellent job. Well worth the fifty bucks I paid for it.

So I showed my husband the Bronson show collar last night. Because he agreed to let me get one blindly. He absolutely loves it. So it looks like that is the one we are getting. He said "I don't care what collar you get as long as it is one that will hold up and last" And then I showed him that one and told him about how good you all thought the stillwater collars were and yeah he really likes the bronson show collar best as well. We both think it would be just right for her

So I think we have a winner.

haha its ok I geek out all the time I want one bad now, I like both the current and the old Doctor...after I watch a few episodes its hard for me even to realize they are different (even though they look completely different) I love how they tied in the actor change and everything, normally shows die with actor changes, this one just got more awesome! I agree a real screwdriver would kinda not be as good since that is just a tool, a pen you can take anywhere and how the screwdriver works is so different I like the idea of a pen better

OMG OMG OMG....
I WANTS THIS LOL!!!
ThinkGeek :: Doctor Who Levitating TARDIS
