Default Adding a new puppy to a home with a 10 month old puppy! Any feedback/suggestions???
Hey all!

Just checking in to get some feedback... we have a 10 month old male apbt. He is amazing, well trained, overall the love of our lives and the best dog. This week we met a gorgeous 4 month old brindle female who is on death row at a high kill shelter. Being the animal lover that i am i adopted her. Any suggestions on how to introduce her to my home and house dog?? We wanna do everything right to make the process as easy as possible for both of them!! Thanks in advance!!

I don't have any tips since when I introduced my current 2, my pit wanted to kill my other dog for the first year and a half..

But.. Are you prepared to separate them if they don't get along right off the bat or get along and then don't get along later in life?

My house dog gets along with every dog he has ever met... but i know it could be a possibility that they dont get along.

As long as you know it's a very real possibility and are willing to deal with whatever happens, then I hope you do take in this pup..

But if you don't think you can deal with dog aggression, especially between housemates in the future, then don't get her because she'll be easier to place as a puppy than she will later on as an adult.
