The title pretty much says it all my dogs head does this when he smells something he really likes ( a bitch on heat) I have had males dogs before that haven't done this and everyone thinks it is weird. Do your males do this? And his nose runs like a tap

Yup. Bitches do it too. My girl Nyx would scare people when her head would get going and she'd bubble and foam at the mouth.

Not all my dogs have done it though, but most of them. Nyx would even do it if she got a little taste of something sweet like honey, or a bit of blood. Her head was always quaking up a storm.
