Default "Do not walk your dogs on this block. It upsets the neighbors."
Was out for a walk around the neighborhood with the new foster, and on a block I don't think I've ever walked down, I spotted a professionally printed sign on the corner...

"Do Not Walk Your Dogs on This Block. It Upsets the Neighbors."

Are you KIDDING ME? It "upsets" you? I'd understand if there wasn't a PUBLIC sidewalk...but really? All the neighbors get upset by dogs?

I walked my dogs down the block anyway. But seriously. Anyone else ever seen something like this? It's obviously not legally binding, but I was flabbergasted.

I obviously don't enjoy the drunk kids that walk down my street in the middle of the night...but I'm not posting a sign that says don't do it. You live in a CITY, in a neighborhood with PUBLIC sidewalks...grow a pair.

Nope, never seen anything like it.. And if it is indeed public property, and you can control your dogs.. keep walking. You cannot tell people what to do on public property.

That is pretty funny. LOL. Yeah, The sidewalks belong to the city/town, so, taxpayers have the right to use them.

Seems to me it would have been placed up sarcastically because someones neighbor on the street you were walking on.
Kind of like if I were to post a sign saying No Pets Allowed On This Street, The Neighbors Hate Pets. Take a pic of it and post it up here

Lol, that's real mature. Maybe if it upsets them so much they should move.

Put up a sign in front of your house:

'Stupid people not allowed to walk in front of this house. They will be shot on sight.'

Wow! Yeah, that sign is not even close to legal unless it is a private gated community.

As other said, public sidewalk. You can walk there as much as you want as long as you pick up any poops. Hell, they can't even stop you from walking there if you don't, but they could call AC and get you ticketed for the feces.

I'd so make a sign to hang under it. " City sidewalks are public property. I can legally walk my pets here. If you get upset at the sight of dogs, seek therapy or move!"

Walk your dogs up and down that street anyways. Stupid sign. As long as you don't do anything illegal, you are free to walk down public sidewalks.

Hahaha, wow how passive aggressive. Idiots. I'd be walking there a LOT with a big ol' smile on my face.

Know what upsets me? That my stupid next door neighbors won't chain their damn lab that can easily climb in and out of their 6ft backyard privacy fence. I shouldn't have to check the freaking street before I take my dogs out to piss in my yard.

In Philly there's ALOT of signs on trees and stuff about picking up poop. One street I went down had several signs saying "you are on camera, if you dont pick up your dogs poop you will be ticketed" or something...

But I've never seen signs saying dont walk your dogs here!

One lady did get upset at me when Freida peed on "her sidewalk" she asked if I was going to wash it away.... I was like "uh........."
and walked away.

I think there is something in Philly where the sidewalk is actually part of the property owners property, since if it is in bad condition, the owner is responsible for repairing it, and in Philly the property owner is responsible for removing snow, not the city.

Did anyone say anything to you? I'd have a lot of fun getting into an argument with one of those idiots.
