Was out for a walk around the neighborhood with the new foster, and on a block I don't think I've ever walked down, I spotted a professionally printed sign on the corner...
"Do Not Walk Your Dogs on This Block. It Upsets the Neighbors." Are you KIDDING ME? It "upsets" you? I'd understand if there wasn't a PUBLIC sidewalk...but really? All the neighbors get upset by dogs? I walked my dogs down the block anyway. But seriously. Anyone else ever seen something like this? It's obviously not legally binding, but I was flabbergasted. I obviously don't enjoy the drunk kids that walk down my street in the middle of the night...but I'm not posting a sign that says don't do it. You live in a CITY, in a neighborhood with PUBLIC sidewalks...grow a pair. |
