I have just received information that people need to hear, see, and take heed upon! I was asked to help spread this information and I intend to do so. These people need to be STOPPED ASAP!

There is a man going around to people's yard (APBT owners) and claiming he wants to help out on the yard and learn a few things. He is also going around and claiming he wants to buy dogs for fighting purposes.

HE IS A CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANT FOR THE HSUS, HE GETS PAID $50,000 A YEAR AND $10,000 FOR AN ARREST he stayed with Art Parker for over a year and snitched (truth or not) his way $10,000 when had them arrested. ....his name is JAKE GUFFEY aka THOMAS GUFFEY (other aliases are unknown at the time, but there are sure to be more)

He travels...Art Parker was in South Carolina, Ed is in North Carolina....I would not limit this guy to only one place, or one area.....in fact, I would not limit it to ONLY this guy......once he is made, I am sure another will take his place.

Because there is this thing called LYING.......

He still gets his money, regardless.....the said person will get arrested and the dogs will be taken, regardless.....and in some states the dogs are put down BEFORE the case ever goes to trial...thats why people care, and that is why they should. This is not a joke, it is not something you can blow out of the water because you do not do something. Just because a freaking court of law says you did, or the media says you did, or some ignorant arrogant snitch says you did, does not mean it is so. I think this was the same thing that was said last time around....people dont seem to understand....

All it takes is ONE lie for someone to be arrested and the dogs be taken, whether you did anything or not...you still have to fight the law, and pay thousands in lawyer fees and worry about your dogs being PTS.....a lot of people care.

Yeah, you can be freakin' Mother Teresa and have a yard of bulldogs, and the HSUS snitch could come and be like "She is totally a dog fighter." Guess what? Mother Teresa would be thrown in jail and her dogs killed, and we all know she would be innocent, but it doesn't matter. It's about killing the breed, not about much more than that.

Because their goal is to destroy all the true APBT blood lines. PETA and HSUS wants to annilate this breed. Anyone can be accused of this. The possesion of everyday items can be contrued as evidence of dogfighting. It is their word against yours.

That is exactly right...a pet owner can be accused of this and arrested for doing absolutely nothing, just because they were accused....that is all it takes, one person to say so....it them puts the said person in jail, with loss of dogs and money for nothing.....because of a lie. People think it does not work that way....well guess what...it just did!

i am a little confused about the HSUS.are they a govt sanctioned agency?how can they just go around siezing dogs?are they like the spca?why can they remove dogs with no evidence or proof? maybe this is a stupid question,but i just dont see how they are allowed to come and steal an old mans dogs like that.i was wondering how they have this "authority" do they just go after game line dog breeders or are they like PETA nuts trying to get animal rights? sorry for the thread jacking ... just trying to learn more about these guys

The HSUS is a wildly popular animal rights organization. That's it. They don't run shelters like your local SPCA. They aren't a government agency, although they enjoy a scary amount of power and have the aura of respectability. They're basically the "good cop" version of PeTA.

i checked out their web site....it seems like they have their nose into everything.very much like PETA.are they run on private donations? i dont understand how they get local law enforcement ... do they just tip them off on alleged dog fighting? it seems like entrapment to me.From what i gather they are dead serious about wiping out the APBT and they collect money to do so by saying that they are "saving" animals.they claim to be a non-profit animal welfare group when in fact they are just a cover for more of that animal rights BS.it seems so wrong.

What needs to happen is ALL OF THIER PERSONAL INFO needs to be made public. These folks have no problem exposeing those they accuse wether they get a conviction or not. It is common on most animal rights site for them to list the accused right down to a detailed map to thier homes.

That is a fact!
