I just spend 4 hours grooming dogs at the pound. I am soooo tired. It was a blast though. The dogs are being held in a cruelty case so no pics, but a group of volunteers bathed 232 dogs that all came from the same home. Most were labs, lab mixes, Golden Retrievers, some pit bulls, Catahoula or 2, GSDs, 2 Dalmatians, Chow mixes, but overall majority was Labs.
Just about all the dogs were great temperaments. Going to make some nice pets when the mess is all over and they get homes!

Not too bad. Some matted, some ear infections, some skin issues. This was the 2nd time they had been bathed since being confiscated. First time I'm sure was worse b/c they had flea infestations then, but I didn't see a flea on any of them. Overall, they were pretty healthy friendly bunch of dogs, but have been at the AC for several weeks now.

Is that case still going on? I talked to our local lab rescue a few weeks ago and she said she is planning to take like 70 of them - crazy! I'm not really a lab person, but there were some really nice big black male Labs that I loved. They were goofballs. Really nice dogs overall. ---------- Post added at 09:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:44 AM ---------- They didn't get my face, but I'm in the brown shirt washing the black dog...
