I had no idea they were bad people, what have they done???

Not just our breed but pet ownership on the whole, as well as the meat industry, animal medical testing, you name it. If they had their way, much like PETA, no one would own dogs, have a steak, or life saving medication.

I've always just donated my money to the local shelter even before I knew all this stuff about HSUS. I like to see my money at work. And they've recently built an entirely new shelter and vet clinic. It's gorgeous, massive, and they do great work. I'm there a lot.

I also like how big they are on education, especially when it comes to bully breeds.

I never felt comfortable giving my cash to some giant organization, since I'm naturally distrustful of such things, and I don't want them lining their pockets when the money can go to feeding and caring for surrendered or abandoned animals.
