So how big do they expect them to get? The best dogs here are still only high 20's to low 30's lbs. For them to be so big at a young age suggests I'm missing the mini part.

I think there is a deliberate attempt to exclude the word mutt or mongrel from the dictionary. Everything seems to be classified as a pit bull mix these days.

On the upside, the non-brindled ones don't look like pitties, so they won't be confiscated and PTS just for looking like fighting dogs.
