Typo?

Or maybe trying to pass something off as an actual breed rather than a dog which is way off standard?

The term used to be tagged to the apbt before it was officially racognized but I wouldn't expect it to be in common use nowadays.

As far as I can see by google search engine, its another name for the american pit bull terrier.(seems to be common consensus) BUT i have also seen it as an interchanged name for an Am bully or an American bull dog.

My best guess is its a simular 'catch term' for bullies, just like 'pit bull' is loosely used for multiple bully breeds.
