How long are your dogs home alone and are they crated or do they have run of the house?

Logan is home alone on average 5 hours a day and he has free run of the house.

Since the bf is unemployed, theyre never alone anymore. When we both worked, Lance was allowed free roam of the house and Jesse was crated for about 5 hours a day.

Probably about 5 hours/day 3 or 4 days a week....Gotti has run of the house...Big Homie is in the bedroom.

When we're both working about 8 hrs a day, otherwise an average of about 5 broken up through the day. They are always crated when ever we leave them for more than 10 mins.

JC is home alone from 7:00AM until 6:00PM at night. He has free reign of the entire apartment. He watches the news while I'm gone

Mollie and Bella are the only two "house dogs", the others are usually inside and crated depending on the weather, but Mollie has full run of the house, Bella is crated. They are home alone about 4-5 hours. The other 4 are crated in the back living room, Bella is crated in the front living room. Mollie is blocked from access to the back living room... she usually just lays in my bed and snoozes all day. She is always in my room when I get home, she comes out after I get in and set my stuff down, stretches, and yawns... and looks at me like "I didn't hear you come in.. what's for dinner?"

mine are almost never alone at home for more than a few minutes....
Judy has her studio downstairs and we live upstairs.. so the dogs have someone with them all the time... grocery store is two blocks from the house so not even that takes more than a few minutes at a time...

No more than 5 hours. We work 8.5 daily but we have the commitment either me or the wife goes home around mid day and stays with the dogs for an hour every day and we also take them to my parents! almost everyday...

Our dogs are alone in the house approximately 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. I wish it wasn't so, but they are all rescues so I guess it's better than the life they might have had otherwise. Harpo's wire kennel is in our office. Fate's kennel is in the kitchen. Queenie has run of the downstairs portion of the house when we are gone.

its sad for me, Goren is home alone from a max of 10 hours, on average Johnny's and my schedual overlap so he is only home alone like 4 hours (I am not listing doobie cause he is home too but that should be a given lol )

Napoleon has free reign of the house when we are gone for anywhere from 4-9 hours a day. He used to be a terror and was crated as a pup, but he grew out of that and now listens to our local public broadcasting radio station and gets his toys filled with treats. I think he actually enjoys himself and we have had no issues since he's been out. (But he does get about an hour of exercise every day or other day)

I don't currently have a job, so, it's usually not more than an hour or two if I go somewhere.

On weekends, it can be about four hours or so, depending on what Stan and I do.

None stay in the house, they all go out on their chain spots.

Uma is home alone Mon-Fri from 7AM till around 1PM when my friend comes over to take her out for a potty and feed her, she is back in the crate from 4/5PM til around 6PM when I get home.
Weekends she is with me for the most part.

Both of my dogs are crated from 6am to 5pm through out the week while i'm at work.

On weekends they are out all the time unless i run to town for a couple hours then i crate them. I used to leave boomer out but he started doing weird things like going into my closet and grabbin 1 shoe from each set of shoes and forming a trail from the closet to the door of the bedroom in a line. It was really odd...he never chewed them up just arranged them. so i decided just to start putting him up so i didn't have to pick up shoes everytime i got home

I go back home from work every 2 hours to let the puppy out of his crate to potty. The older guy stays for 4 hours when i go back for lunch.

Mags is crated from about 7am until I get home at 5pm. My husband is around during the day so he is able to let her out when needed.

My dogs are crated for atleast 9-10 hours while I am at work.. and up to 13 if I work overtime. Outside of work, I rarely go anywhere that one or both dogs don't come with.

My days off are completely devoted to hours upon hours of fetch and swimming, and they get atleast an hour of hard fetch and workouts a day.

Ours are generally kenneled for about 3 or four hours during the day while we are at work and school; except for the husky that has free roam of the back yard.

Last year, while in school they were home alone(crated in the bedroom and kitchen) about 7 hours a day. Now Riley is crated about 2 hours 3-4 days a week, sometimes less. Bubba is crated 5+ hours a day 5 days a week since he cannot go to work with me like Riley can.
