I used to think bark collars were totally inhumane, but now I am starting to rethink. If used sparingly and only when necessary, do you think bark collars are OK or not? Example--I am going to take a camping trip soon, and don't want Apollo to bark incessantly every time we leave him in the camper. When we return to the camper, we would remove the collar, because he will stop barking when we tell him to, just when we are away for any length of time I do not want him to annoy the neighboring campers and get us kicked out. I don't know if he would bark in this situation or not, just want to be prepared. If you think they are inhumane, can you please give me other suggestions as to how to control barking when I am not there? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
