He has now branched out into physics. It seems two tides a day means gravity is wrong because he can't work out why we don't have just one.

Well for a start, since the tides cannot be due to gravity they must have been a result of Intelligent Design.

Gravity must be wrong because if it was true then the Moon would orbit the Sun and not the Earth.

Noone really believes that children in Australia are upside down relative to "us" (why children in particular, I don't know).

And so on and on and on.

I get the opposite...

I think it is because they posted at the exact same time, click on the post numbers up there ^ to get the missing posts...

I'm surprised the Diurnal tides are so widespread. Do they really happen over so much of WA? That seems very odd.

(Also I was surprised to learn that diurnal means once per day, rather than twice).
