It's nice to have a link on the fourm and if we ever get new folks here in the wilderness they might like to know about the Scribbly wiki http://www.scribblygumwiki.net/
It's a great resource. I'm going to try and find some time to do a little updating now we're shifting camp. If anyone else wants to chip in some time, perhaps we can come up with a plan to keep the spam under control. |

From the old forum.
http://www2b.abc.net.au/science/scri...pic528110.shtm From: cb88 ® 2/04/2012 10:22:24 PM Subject: Scribbly Gum Wiki (Posts:3) post id: 528110 Hi all, I'm one of the forumites who has volunteered to help Dr. ZAx maintain the ABC wikis. The Tech Talk and Scribbly Gum Wikis have been updated to the latest version of the Dokuwiki software. The registration has been restricted to require a valid email address and a CAPTCHA. Hopefully this will help with the spam problems. There were over 10,000 spam users registered across the TT and SG wikis. Rather than trying to clean that up I've removed all the non-admin users. Unfortunately that means you'll have to re-register if you want to edit the wiki again. From: roughbarked ® 2/04/2012 11:25:28 PM Subject: re: Scribbly Gum Wiki post id: 528111 'tis OK.. from me.. I never tried to alter it anyway. From: Teleost ® 3/04/2012 6:56:50 PM Subject: re: Scribbly Gum Wiki post id: 528124 Nice work CB88. I've been cleaning up a little here and there. As have a couple of others. It'll be a great relief to finally be rid of the bots. While on the subject, there are numerous dead links - most of them to photos. If anyone who previously had photos up, wants them back up there, could you please update any links. I'm about to clear out a whole load. *mumbles something about making time* |
