Facebook numbers status thingy
 

Can someone clue me in? I've gathered that it's a game or a question/answer type deal, but beyond that, I'm completely lost. And slightly annoyed. I've got a few people on my feed that have put a new number/person up every two minutes.

I've started weeding people out. If it's someone I don't really interact with and I get "so and so answered a question about you" on my wall, that's it, they're gone. No three strikes, or anything like that.

I was wondering the same thing! I have seen several of these posts. From what I understand, you send someone a message with a number in it. They find that number on their friends list and talk about that person. But I don't know where the list of numbered friends is. Still confused...

Someone messages you a number...lets say I message you the number 99

you would then do this-

99- (and write something you like a bout me, and what I mean to you ect)


So when I see the number 99 and a message next to it on your page. I will know its for me

After I read this thread, everyone is updating their status with numbers

My one friend does it but just does it under 1 status. She just comments on it every time she posts about someone so it doesnt clutter peoples pages

Sounds kind of childish, to me, like one of those silly, annoying games that teenage girls play.
