Default The new iPhone, will you run out to get it ?
So more news that a new iPhone is about to be released to the market soon.

Are you planning to run out and buy a new iPhone just because it is being released to the market ?

Will the constant whinning from the kids make you buy them one ?

Do you think it will keep Apple in the forefront of phone technology ?

Or will it just become "another" toy people know is out there ?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/37325517...ence-wireless/

Is this press release about a possible flood of the cheaper older version bad news for Apple ?

Too funny.. I bought a new one off Criagslist so i would not lock into a new contract.. It was still in the postal with the official Rogers seal on it..

NO CONTRACT..

Sorry Ed but knowing Apple if this new iPhone crashes I would hate to be you.

Apple would likely drop it like a bad seed and sell it off as non-core business, money losing to Sony Ericsson

And so bounces the business world..

they make way too much money on the iPhone to drop it! there's little chance of this item crashing

I'm up for a new phone now, so I'll get getting the new iPhone as soon as it comes out. Screw the Droid, I'm really not all that impressed by it. My dad, brother, and sister-in-law all have Droid phones, and I much prefer my iPhone. My sister-in-law used to have an iPhone until they switched to Verizon, and she wishes she still had it rather than her Droid.

yeah I'm not surprised they feel sorry for me with my beautifully designed and constructed iPhone, with it's unparalleled user experience, more games than any other platform, that damn iPod in it, not to mention the tens of thousands of great apps, the fact I have Apache, PHP and MySQL running on it. It's a bitch.

And that's why I hate Apple products and the cult behind them. The "holier-than-thou" crap gets old.

Quite so but do you know what else you are missing ? Apple refuses to let other apps on it's platform for a reason ..

And recently they removed some without notifying customers prior.. Gotta love Apple making choices for YOU..

The holier-than-thou reason is because they know they can't remove "flock all" from the damn device Apple has trapped them into. Can you say "propriatery"..

yeah but you have to understand we can't help but be smug
smug also equals = sucker...

the average user doesnt need Apache PHP and MySQL
as if you need or can download tens of thousands of apps on a single iphone
for every app you pay for i get a clone for free, that works just as good if not better
And the android market allowing open ended development sure is a bitch
