It's 2 pci slots (dual 16x capable) so I might go SLi one day, but my budget wouldn't stretch quite that far as yet.

I went for the slightly faster 3.0 duel core, mainly because it sounds more impressive, performance boost might be minimal, but e penis boost is massive.

Cache is 2mb I believe, although I can't check right now because she's sleeping and I'm on my other computer.

Default building me new computer
OK I got the spec list I think I want:

AMD 64 X2 2.8ghz 5800+
Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe (Socket AM2)
2 x 2gb 800mHz DDR2 RAM (4gb total)
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX 768mb

and... Windows Vista 64-bit. I'm taking a risk there I know, but I gotta try it out, and I'd like a legal copy of windows for once.

If it can run Crysis, it's good for years is my idea lol

That's it! I'm upgrading. I'm sick of hearing about all these computers that blow mine out of the water. LOL

Wouldn't matter for me, I'm so anal when it comes to hard drive space and organisation I only need half or even a quarter of that.

Cyrisis runs well on my computer :
AMD Athlon FX-60
Asus A8N SLI-Deluxe mother board
2x1GB Mushkin Redline Ram
Radeon HD-2900

So you should do well. Are you playing Crysis now?
