heh, nawh, its not an assignment from college. its just something i want to do, to start a programming portfolio.

i dont mind if you read it. hell, if you want, you can ask questions about it too. if you program, and you see some code that you want to use.. i dont mind, but at least tell me. that way i know its useful for other things besides the intended overall use of a compiler.

at a later time, ill add a post, probably at the end of coding, that describes what it is in more detail, but to summarize, a compiler takes a language that we humans might understand, and compiles it into a language that the computer understands.

Cool, you have got your work cut out for you. The Uni I atend has a grad class on this. Its amazing to see how mutch code goes into something like this. Good luck.
