i will be most likely in the coming months build me a new PC maybe around christmas time now after vista is fully released and when all the bugs in the mobo's for the new intel and amd chips are hashed out. And with my job and schooling I'll most likely be able to write it off as a work/school expense.

ok.. so you got the vid card and processor... but you only got half the memory... and 1/3 the hard drive ( and the same sound card i think ) ...

if i wanted to, i could pump my 3.0 ghz processor abit to... cant really do anything about my vid card though..

if i could, id build me the following:

cell processor
max mem cell processor can handle - that would be alot.
network grid storage ( unlimited addressing means unlimited storage capabilities )
and for sound and video, i'd dedicate one processor core per component, so that would be 2 of 7 locked for sound and video. or maybe 2 for video. still, with 7 cores, and one being the scheduler... kicks more ass than any intel shit out there now... ( and 7 is what sony decided to cap for they ps3 ... imagine how many ibm has tried to put on the package )

Soo because I am a female that is why I don't know my specs???

I made a joke, I know what my comp is, I know exactly what it is capable of, I just felt like making a smart ass remark rather then answering your Question,

But I guess Just being a Female, I shouldn't be in here, lord forbid I would know anything. My bad.. I will go to the Barefoot and Pregnant section.. could you give me directions, I seem to not be able to find it.
