as i was trying to view the link bdn posted in the vids section, it said i needed quicktime..
indeed i did, because i reinstalled windyxp.. so downloading it, and running the setup program, i noticed it was for itunes. sad that the free player is just an addon to the itunes program. also sad that the company ( apple ) needed to go to this length to advertise... and check this out: ( mind you, its a screen of the installation program, and remember its for quicktime ) |

eh, i found out that the folder you maually type in is for itunes. the quicktime stuff is automatically sent to the programfiles\quicktime folder..
if you dont choose a different folder, you have to be careful. ill put up a list of what is used for quicktime in a bit. and the registry... i didnt play in it yet.. keyword: yet ![]() |

I use Quicktime Alternative which plays Quicktime movies in Mediaplayer Classic (it can;t run on MP10 because of copyright restrictions).
There's also RealAlternative, which does the same thing for RealPlayer files. |
