First look at Windows 8.

It is radically different approach for a DESKTOP operating system. It will be cool on tablet/slate style computers but how will it work on the desktop? Touchscreens for everybody in the future?

This is the biggest gamble and change for Microsoft Windows from as far back as Windows 95.

I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't just an optional interface, not unlike Media Center.

I can't imagine it working well in my environment. I like the current setup with the 'super' taskbar. I like it alot. I could care less what my desktop looks like since I never see it.
