Types a link? Do you mean a URL? Types the link in what? What brand of notebook? Is it running Xp, Vista, or Win 7?

Only facebook? Or any webpage? Also what Windows Live product is loading. Mail? Messenger? Or is she being redirected to the Windows Live webpage?

It sounds like her computer has been hijacked. If so she should not trust it. She needs to get it to a good computer tech and have the system scanned and purged. Most such hijacks are caused because she fell for a phishing attempt and let something install on her computer. Such installs are usually attempts to steal creditcard and banking data. She is being pushed to a fake Windows Live webpage in order to capture her facebook account and her computer. This isn't something to fix online by a geeky friend who knows computers. The system is compromised. Disconnect it from the internet NOW.
