i am very pleased with Verizon! My phone is not an an-droid but i am pleased with the service. My daughter and son have the super high techie phones from Verizon .... I have not heard any bitchin' from them about the service. i have had at and t, and sprint ... was very disappointed with their service ... have been through all the transitions from cellularone, to alltel, to verizon. there were always some transition issues but not so much as to make me want to change ... i think so far Verizon has been superior to C1 and Alltel in terms of signal and fewer dropped calls.

NL, thanks for the link. No time nor speed to read the site, be sure when you get yours to let us know the in and outs of how good you feel it is.
I'm about due a phone, think my bill is in the 130 range phone plus broadband card, I think these phones will work as broadband cards also, so let us know how it goes. I am thinking hard on moving from sprint to someone else. |

We have had Verizon mobiles since 2003 for our business. Never once has my bill varied from the quoted rate. In 2006, they automatically bumped us up to unlimited minutes and some kind of VIP where we now get 25% off accessories, chargers, etc. No roaming, if you get servcie it IS in their area, period. No frills. Friendly, good old fashioned ENGLISH speaking, proper grammar. If there is a problem, they will not let you go until they have resolved it to your satisfaction. If they had iphones I would have my personal mobile with them as well, but I cannot let my iphone go, it would be like losing a body part..

I have never had problems with dropped calls or lack of service, But we have had problems with the phones.(not droids) they power off, and my husbands razor style phone will not ring, but to the person calling it does ring. does that make sence. Anytime I have had a problem with the power down cycle Verison has swapped the phone at no charge.

My oldest had a RAZR. It started to act up, and we were at a point where we could renew, so we just got him a new phone today (the family uses Boost, he uses verizon with his grandparents). We got him a Droid. Super, super cool phone.
Problem is, instead of putt ing his number on the phone, they deactivated my father in laws phone. I feel sorry for the salesperson at the Verizon store. At this very minute he has a pissed off, 4'11" Mexican woman taking out some frustration on him. |
