Default IE Help
Anytime I try to close internet explorer I keep getting an Internet Explorer Unhandled Exception. It started a few days ago but had never done this before. I tried doing a restore from previous point and it's still happening. My computer is all wonky right now so that's what makes me think I have a virus. Can someone help me, please?

Which version of Windows are you using.

Window XP Pro or Home? Windows Vista Basic, Home, Business, or Ultimate? Or Windows 7 Home, Business, or Ultimate?

Which version of IE? 6,7, or 8?

I would love to use another browser but cannot figure out how to transfer all my bookmarks over. I don't want to have to go through and rebookmark everything. I also have a start group that automatically opens and i dunno how to do that either.

Firefox transfers bookmarks when you install it or you can use the import function at anytime. Multiple tabs are setup in much the same way IE does it. They stole the idea from FF.

Ok download Malwarebytes, install it, UPDATE IT, and run full scan. Report findings.

If you think you have a virus you still need to scan the system. Not using IE isn't going to help you if you have rootkit hiding on your computer recording every keystoke you make. I clean this off of several computers a week. You could find your PayPal account or bank accounts cleaned out.

You might upgrade it to IE 8 and see if that corrects the problems. 7 isn't safe anyway and you need to keep it upgraded as IE is built into windows and not having updated risks problems.
