Microsoft forced an update. An update of what?
Are you talking about the new Internet Explorer 7? By toolbar do you mean the main toolbar? With File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, and so forth? If you hold down the alt key that menu will appear. If you want it permanently fixed you can right click on it and put a check by the "Menu Bar " item in that top menu. Add-ons are for special add on features that you can add to IE7. The concept is similar to extensions in Firefox. Ignore it. As to the shipping thing I don't have a clue what your referring too. This sounds like a spyware toolbar or something. Do you have the yahoo or Google toolbar loaded? If this is all too much you can roll back to IE 6. Just goto Add Remove Programs in the control panel and uninstall it. |

Stuck I agree but best time to learn something new is when your not pressed for a deadline. I'd remove IE7 get her back to what she is used to and THEN show her the benefits of Firefox.
