Dementieva vs. AMG gets downgraded from Chatrier (on day 4 schedule) to Court 2.

Best of all, a Bondarenko triple-header on Court 5!!!! What a treat it would be to just spend the whole day there!

I'm still excited from yesterday's drama! Can't wait for play to start...

Did anyone see any of Isner's match last night? Was Chiudinelli playing well, or Isner not playing well?

I'm really upset that Swiss TV channels chose to show a rerun of Federer's match instead of Wawrinka and Chiudinelli who were playing live - way to encourage the players who are less likely to still be there later in the week!

still raining, but court #2 is packed already. Provided that the weater improves, it's a pretty good day to have ground tickets

I thought you had to sell your tickets because of your work in Prague? Happy for you it worked out after all. I'll keep my fingers crossed for delayed matches and good weather on Saturday, then
(Rain delays really aren't fun. There is absolutly nothing to do and pretty much the only one place* to cover from the rain (the higher balconies of Philipp Chatrier form a roof), so basically you and 10,000 others just squeeze under there and wait. It really, really sucks.)

*there are a few covered seats on court 2 as well and if you have tickets for PC, you can wait in the stairwells...

Bummer. I got up a bit earlier today and figured I could watch the end of Jankovic-Kanepi while I ate breakfest. It took me a while to figure out that I was watching a replay of yesterday.

Tennis-inspired typo!

I do it all the time.

This same garbage happens on US tv too. Sometimes it is a mystery how they decide which matches to show

According to weather.com the weather in Paris is supposed to improve by 2PM Parisian time - so maybe the skies will clear soon?

*sings*
It's raining, it's pouring.
The old man is snoring
Bumped his head
And he went to bed
And he couldn't get up in the morning

Rain, Rain go away
Come back another day
Little Murray wants to play

I'm watching old Daria episodes in the meantime.

Don't believe that site. It's often worthless outside USA.

Following the weather through RG's own website. No charts, no graphs, just little updates from time to time.

I've been checking out this webcam of the Eiffel Tower. The sky looks a lot lighter than it did a little while ago, so maybe things are clearing up

Per RG-twitter: matches scheduled to start at 3pm.

But I just opened my eurosport livestream and it is still raining

edit: there was just an anouncement that play will not start before 3.30. I feel for the crowd today. At least players have it warm and dry while waiting.

And after the wait is over they have to go out into the cold, in their shorts, and play tennis. Honestly, I'd have something like pneumonia within an hour

Still, for a lot of people who have probably come a long way for a single day of tennis, this really, really does suck...
