Default Rep. Murphy going back the other direction on government spending
Citing the exploding national debt, Congressman Patrick Murphy is proposing a freeze in all non-defense related discretionary spending. In December, Murphy voted for a 12 percent spending increase in a 2010 omnibus bill that included those agencies. Six weeks later, he's calling for a freeze for 2011. http://www.phillyburbs.com/news/loca...ng-freeze.html

Hopefully this flip flopping clowns 15 mins of fame is over. If Fitz comes out of the R primary it could mean the quick end of this bozo.

This is as good a time as any to point out that the AG is not the state's top law enforcement officer. That would be the governor.

Is that apropos of anything in particular in this thread?

The AG's website seems to think so:

The State Constitution provides that the Attorney General shall be the chief law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth and shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be imposed by law.

The Commonwealth Attorneys Act establishes the Attorney General as the chief legal and law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/theoffice.aspx?id=168
