These Al Qaeda guys can't take a joke can they...I doubt this guy is very high up in the Al Qaeda chain anyway.

WASHINGTON -- An internet jihadist has called upon American Muslims to kill comedian David Letterman.

Seriously.

The threat comes from Umar al-Basrawi, a frequent contributor to a major Islamic jihadist forum, whose most recent online post asks American Muslims to “cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever," according to the SITE Intelligence Group, a private company that monitors online jihadist traffic.

Apparently, Basrawi didn't appreciate a joke that Letterman, who is not Jewish, made about late al-Qaida bigwig Ilyas Kashmiri, a senior al-Qaida leader reportedly killed in an airstrike, and his former boss, Osama bin Laden.

You know, why do we tolerate these assholes in our society?

Why can't we just have our SWAT teams go abduct these jerks in the middle of the night and have them never to be seen again?

How many Creationists have sent Richard Dawkins death threats? So some guy on the internet said something dumb? Who frickin cares? Why is this even news?

A ref who makes a bad call in a bowl game gets death threats. It's the groups who follow through on the threats we have to worry about.
