Default Only One Senator Stays to Question U.S. Envoy to Syria at Confirmation Hearing
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011...ation-hearing/

America's ambassador to Syria had some important things to say at his confirmation hearing Tuesday about the regime's brutal crackdown on protesters.

Unfortunately for him, only one senator stuck around to talk about it.

Robert Ford, who is President Obama's man on the ground amid the chaos in Syria, spoke to a row of empty seats as he discussed the tumult in that country before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Does it surprise anyone that no one seems to care about Syria? But yet somehow Libya is far more important for us to be involved in...

I don't think we should be involved in any of these countries minus sending them humanitarian aid. But to sit there and say the reason we went to Libya was the "atrocities" being committed by the leadership there and then ignore this in Syria seems a bit hypocritical.

Does Syria export a sufficient amount of sweet, sweet crude to affect global oil prices?
