Drowning in counterfactuals.
Ladies and gentlemen, we've got a real problem in this country.. Of course that problem is government running around and shitting/ ![]() Look at TARP and Obama Care. Look at the mess that California is in and the BAILOUT they want to correct it. These issues are a microcosm of all that ails American domestic policy. In every case, counterfactual argumentation is used as a scare tactic. Accountability itself becomes the problem and the threat! "OH FUCK!! We HAVE TO buy up all the bad assets!!! Or else!!" "Oh hell, we HAVE TO force everyone to buy health care.. Or else!" "Oh shit, we can't let California go bankrupt!!" In this way, counterfactual argumentation supplants accountability. It puts off a richly deserved reckoning.. Well, duh.. Right? So what obviously needs to happen? FAILURE needs to be EMBRACED. EVEN ENCOURAGED! People, institutions, governments and even entire states NEED to be ALLOWED TO FAIL. Until this happens, we'll continue to drown in counterfactual nonsense. People, institutions and government will CONTINUE to make stupid decisions and avoid responsibility via mountains of unprovable counterfactuals. Only through FAILURE can blame be assigned. Only through FAILURE will people finally learn to fear counterfactual arguments from people like Barak Obama, Paul Krugman and scores of Liberal scaremongers. Only FAILURE can make us stronger and smarter. California NEEDS to be permitted to GO BROKE. Wild spending NEEDS to result in higher levels of taxation. Multicultural experiments NEED to be permitted to end in failure.. (As is happening all over the world this minute) Remember forced busing? Like ALL liberal travestys, that was based on an absurd counterfactual argument. Okay.. So, how? Simply.. If this trend is to be reversed, we are going to have to return to Constitutionally limited governance. It's perfect precisely because it WON'T STOP LIBERAL STUPIDITY! Not at all! In fact, it would be FOOLISH to even try! It won't stop a single liberal program.. It won't curb a single liberal abuse. What it WILL DO is isolate the damage and assign the blame! Ruinous laws and regulations, if enacted at the State Level, (California comes to mind) aren't to be feared. They are part of the process by which the 50 states act as laboratories of democrary.. and PROVE good ideas to be good. And consign poor ones to the dustbin of unworkable, liberal/utopian horseshit. Failure removes the counterfactual defense.. It de-fangs it. People NEED TO SEE RUINOUS LEGISLATION AND INITIATIVES FAIL before they will greet a government snake oil salesman (Or their proxy in, say.. The MSM or the editorial pages of the Times.) with LAUGHTER and derision. The FREEDOM TO FAIL is THE TRUEST FORM OF FREEDOM. Under performance in the real world will save us from the clutches of silly academics.. and expose them as the fools and liars we all intrinsically know them to be. It's a Darwinism of ideas that WILL RESULT in clear winners and clear losers! Only by letting this evolutionary sort of conceptual combat play itself out in localities all across this nation can we ever hope to escape the thought stopping, counterfactual nonsense that is leading us to ruin. Heil Hitler. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Let it be known that wolfie having sequestered himself in the torpid insufferable heat of the New Guinea jungle,is a fellow of refinement and good taste. It distresses one to hear the continual bleating of the unwashed, and uneducated masses who continually hurl brickbats, scurrilous innuendos, and copious lashings of vitriol at DLP members as uneducated Nazi rabble. I must protest against this farrago of unmitigated and unsubstantiated rumors and hearby challenge to a duel the malcontents behind this cowardly custard behavior who would dare besmirch the good name and word smithing ability of my fellow members. let it be known that wolfie treats his darkies like well loved pets, who avail themselves of (1) one latrine per 20 darkies (2) 1 stick of Niki Niki (trading tobacco) per week (3) 1 bottle of coconut oil for skin conditioning (4) 1 hand bananas per family (5) 7 day working week (6)darkies are allowed to have night off Wolfie has put his name forward for the member of the lower sepik district and will bring to this Honorable position quark, strangeness, and charm, if elected i will put before the house, that town darkies are not to wear ridiculous headware within the town limits of Mt Hagen upon penalty of a severe bastinardo (severe foot whipping ). I feel remiss in not addressing the vocabulary restaints of my Amerikana bros...if i may use that term kamerads..but in these trying times and the ever encroaching morass of semitic supremecy..is it a crime for one of our members to imbibe a cleansing ale or two to slake his ravening thirst after a hard day's work in the ghettos and barrios of amerika. Why even i wolfie likes to kick back ..if i may be so bold to use that Amerikana term.. and enjoy a south pacific lager followed by a little schnapps and listen to Lilli Marlene on my old gramophone as i gaze upon the smiling faces of my darkies toiling away upon my copra plantation..so one must say..to our detractors.. chin chin old chums. does wolfie win prize..? free tickets to amerika for me and my bro sharnie..? |

Let's just make this simple. There are two main reasons our Country is in such dire straights. The first problem, is Democrats, the second is Republicans! I've never seen anything more more idiotic than a Republican, or a Democrat! Those who think that the two party system is the way to save the Country are utter zombies. Neither Republicans or Democrats care about the people, they care about themselves!
The Two Party System, is what is sticking us with politicians who say the right things, and yet fail to do them. People like George Bush, and Obama seem to have realized that people will remember them for what they say during a campaign, and not what they do during a presidency! With the two party system, the two only sides are allowed to take turns being the good guys and bad guys. What would happen if every candidate was independent of Party rule? What if they were only responsible to themselves? What if we didn't have a 24 hour news media that plays their game? The News Media is paid off by the Parties, and therefore panders to their narrative: There are two parties, two choices, and that's how you're gonna see it. The only way we can finally defeat the two party system is to completely abandon them, something we are getting closer and closer to every single day! Americans may have been forgetful in the past, but sooner or later we are going to be so fed up with both parties, that we are forced to go in a third direction; Independent. Ask yourself, what is keeping Wall Street together, and Main Street in shambles? The Two Party system is, both Parties are taking advantage of the working people. People make wealthy careers out of being politicians, while hard working Americans are continually being laid off, working more hours, and making less money. At this point the Republicans are a party of No ideas, and the Democrats are the party of Bad ideas! These roles were reversed during Bush's Presidency. We should be so fed up with these Parties by now, they deserve complete failure. Historically, George Washington was the only president elected as an independent, as he was not formally affiliated with any party during his two terms. We need more Presidents like George Washington, and less like Bush Jr., or Obama. We need a President, and Congressmen that are completely independent from party rule. |

The problem is not political, or topic subjective but one of objective consciousness regarding one’s personal beliefs regarding existence in a modern society. I firmly believe a close examination of one’s own moral and philosophical ideals shapes personal decisions AND morals, and guides personal patterns throughout life. For example, Sophocles regarded morality as essentially a matter of feelings and attitudes displayed toward fellow humans. Moral judgments are derived from reason, because they can be true or false like the laws of mathematics. But if moral judgments are derived from the feelings, they do not remain constant - they will be as variable as the moods and sentiments of the individuals who make them. Where does that leave me?? As an atheist and follower of romanticism of the “Enlightenment” ( the European version not Van Morison musical version) I firmly believe in atheistic and materialist philosophies denying the existence of God and the soul. Rejecting Christian morality has not been taken lightly, because embracing contemporary personal ideals shape human behaviour. I also base my decision on the twisted ethical code of Christianity, which I argue causes destructive self-repression. However, I can also understand why God and religion are useful tools by sections of society in keeping the population in line. The Vatican, politicians, or anyone who can use religion as a repressive tool will do so as a point of self-survival and furtherance of their own existence. I feel that is the malaise of today. Rightly or wrongly, I admire the outlook of philosopher David Hume who placed the greater emphasis on feelings rather than reason as the basis for moral beliefs, instead of his detractors who relied on metaphysical assumptions. Hume separated logic, (which deals with human conscience), and ethics, (which deals with a human as a social being). He argued that logic is based on fact and ethics based on human emotion, and that one cannot deduce moral principles solely by considering the facts. Does that give a new meaning to modern rationalism and theology that dominated ethical debates for centuries?? How does this affect the present?? Does the individual have any coherent rapport with the State?? Or has morality dropped into a cesspool affecting all sections of society. It is not for me to judge existence or decisions of others, it’s up to others to explore their own reasoning for their existence – especially politicians – because it affects all society by radiating downwards. Perhaps governmental individuals should have serious introspective reasoning for their existence instead of rhetoric for survival. Then truly a human being can understand and minimize the "problem". |

Ha, instead of writing how "angry" I am today and for this essay, I will write about how great I feel.
Well, Yes, we were headed down a road of all kinds of insanity, an insanity that included even Super Mario jumping into the pit of fire as a super masochist which would make a liberal eyes water.. No, My eyes water because my young "Tea Kettle" put a new stamp on libertarianism, a political movement - a political movement, a structure - that put a 30-something stamp on my "liberal" ideals - a movement that was young enough to fight socialism but define libertarianism - a movement which which has its haters and destroys ignorance, - a movement which always remembers its forefathers and remembers the sacrifice for the Bill of Rights.. |
