(R.C. = Roman Catholic)

Do they use some of the same hymns? Is the service completely different? Do they use the kanons of St John of Damascus? Were the services similar close to the time of the Great Schism, then after a few centuries the R.C. service started becoming different?

I'm curious because I'd like to know what kind of service my Catholic friends are attending when they go to their Easter services.
