I agree with David,...photos do not lie,....and I checked on accuweather.com forecast for Chiang Rai, ccording to this web, temps. drop down to 2 C in early morning hours there, so at those temps it is certainly possible for snow to fall. But as you go higher up the mountains temps. drop even lower making snow very possible. Consider that Mt. Kilimanjaro in heart of Africa or Mt. Kinabalu in Malaysia are covered with snow,...as is Mt. Kilauea in Hawaii and there are snow storms in Hawaii on this mountain and others...
