can someone tell me when the holidays for the thai school children and the students at the university begin and end in the springtime?

I presume you mean summer as we only have three seasons: hot, hotter and rainy.

The summer holidays for most school will be during the months of March and April. In the middle of that they usually have summer school for one month. International schools will have holidays based on their country of origin. Universities will also vary a lot.
