Brhovick - I have to agree with G-Dizzle, please post what you have been eating and drinking and what drops you are taking!

Mlcemg - I started on exactly the same day as you, but I've had better results. That being said, I have stuck strictly to the protocol with the exception of 2 extra pieces of melba toast on Monday because we had ridden 10km and I'm not used to it. I have had no problems with hunger. I do know that from my past experiences with Atkins, alcohol can completely stall you out. Your body will use it as fuel right away and apparently it works well. 2 glasses of wine in a night could stall me for days. It is a very strict protocol and I think that you have to do your best to follow it to a "T".
If you go off, get right back on, but try not to go off in the first place. Try to remind yourself that it's only for a short period of time and then you can start to add things back. I have been overweight/obese almost my entire adult life. I am tired of it and ready to make a change. It's such a short term thing and doing it right the whole time will help you to see loses on the scale that will help to keep you motivated.

All the best
