Thanks Ponce. I found an excellent source of information about Land Patents at 1215.org:

Anyone can download these documents and read them at your leisure.

I've had an interest in this for a long time. It isn't practical for me to get allodial title to my land, which is a postage stamp sized lot close to downtown Portland. However, when I sell this property, and buy a bigger property in a rural area, I intend to do this without hesitation. It's good to know about this.

In fact, it's good to know about our heritage. I have started reading a book by Michael Badnarik called Good to Be King. It's a serious, and entertaining discussion about how we Americans are the sovereigns in our country, thanks to our Constitution. It is truly a shame and a travesty that only one in a hundred or even one in a thousand people have any idea what sovereignty is. And that ignorance makes it possible for the government to treat us as slaves. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing for the government, so they fight it tooth and nail when we try to educate ourselves. They fight even harder when we claim our rights.
